Activities

We have many different teachers and classes that the kids enjoy, along with our own preschool program.

The Tumble Fun Bus (www.tumblefunbus.com), a music class, a music and movement class, yoga, Travel Tots geography and a fitness class.

Age appropriate activities are scheduled with flexibility allowed to respond to the needs of the individual child and day.  We offer times for outside play, crafts, stories, instruction, preschool program and naps appropriate to the child's ages, interests, and abilities.  We provide your child with tender loving care, understanding, patience and guidance in a happy family setting. Free play is an important part of a child's early years.  It is here that they learn social skills that will be needed the rest of their lives.

Goals
While in our care your child will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities, which promote all aspects of development. Family childcare provides for children the comfort and experience of belonging to an extended family. We provide a home like setting; therefore we do not follow a strict schedule/routine.  Our approach to childcare is child centered and child directed. Your child will bring home a daily report to fill you in on what they ate, when they slept and what they did for the day.

Family Child Care (FCC) is best described as a small child care business offered in a loving, safe, home environment.

Family child care provides a vital community service and is a viable choice for many working parents. The FCC home provides warm and loving care and guidance for children to develop while away from their parents in a setting that is safe, secure, healthy, and homelike. Activities are provided that help children grow physically, socially, mentally, and emotionally.

Many parents prefer a family child care home to center based care because the number of children in care is much smaller, so their child can receive more individual attention. Consistency of care from the same provider is also an important factor when choosing family child care.
